Rudi Zygadlo struggles to put a foot wrong, his odd combination of dub-ish production and classic songwriting pitchs him consistently to the left of most other electronic artists. So we were pleased to hear Planet Mu‘s Rudi Zygadlo has joined forces with Pictures Music to bring us a one off release in the build up to his forthcoming second album.
Today, Pictures Music uploaded ‘The Deaf School’, taken from Rudi Zygadlo’s forthcoming EP Achtung! to stream online. It sees Zygadlo further embrace vocals, inching ever closer towards more conventional song structures – but still maintaining a pounding piece of vocal electronica with house sensibilities.
