Kara Messina’s brand Y’oh is about to become a big deal. Hailing from london, this isnt your generic ‘streetwear brand’, infact it offers much more than your typical. This year we are seeing a maturer approach to ‘streetwear’ and Y’oh captivates that progression within the forthcomming collection. The collection is one of the best so far this year, we see batik African fabrics reworked into button down shirts aswell as classic outerwear pieces fabricated by wax cotten. Started by Sean Powell in early 2009, Sean designed alone, focusing his energy directly to create a brand to represent the street and skate-wear scene.
