Sean Hughes aka Rumah first crossed my radar a couple of months ago after hearing his guest mix on Dalston internet radio station NTS. Since then I have witnessed him sporadically uploaded new tracks to his Soundcloud, each bettering the last. His productions are usually built around a four-to-the-floor referencing techno and house, coloured with with dark textures from across the UK spectrum. [Read more →]

Interview: James Holden
01.03.12

Things have certainly changed for Kieran Hebden (Four Tet) since his last album release in 2010; he’s made a transatlantic shift to Brooklyn, taken his sweet time with releasing his own music and collaborated with such iconic figures as Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and his schoolmate Burial. Along with that, he took on a task that was long overdue—tackling the creative obstacle course that is constructing a FABRICLIVE mix.
