You may not have heard of Optigram before, but if you’ve been paying attention to the finer side of electronic music for a while, then you’ll definitely recognise his work. Creating covers for several labels and brands including the likes of Hyperdub, Warp, Planet Mu & Red Bull Music Academy, his artwork has graced the covers of some of the most elegant releases of the past half decade. Often recurring to sophisticated geometric and repetitive patterns, Optigram’s artwork reflects the same experimental analogue niche sprouting from these labels. Haven been responsible for Ikonika’s iconic cover, and DVA’s brilliant new ‘Pretty Ugly’ LP cover, Optigram is proving to be one of the influential designers within the electronic music scene. kosy the crackhead is a street artist based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. You can find his doodled characters loitering on lamposts, chilling on electricity boxes and walking on walls in towns and cities across europe. They can be seen everywhere from the eiffel tower to the blackpool tower with leeds being their home turf where they congregate in mass. Trust me, if you’ve wandered round Leeds recently you’ll know exactly what I mean. Dan Hillier Illustration Interview

Dan Hillier has become well-known for black line engravings, combining Victorian sensibilities with a fascination for animal attributes to create fantastically surreal imagery. I have been a fan of Dan Hillier’s work ever since I stumbled across it on google searching for images of Victorian engravings a few years ago. Back then Dan was still establishing himself as an artist in London but now 3 years on Hillier’s illustrations have been featured in the magazine Dazed and Confused, arts journal Phoebe aswell as the Losers – Flush feat. Konx Om Pax Interview

Konx-om-Pax is 24 year old Glasgow based Director/Animator/Sound Designer Tom Scholefield. In recent years worked with Warp Records, Universal Everything and Optimo Espacio. Konx-Om-Pax is one of those enviably hyper-active characters, equally adept at creating dazzling artwork for sleeves like Oneohtrix Point Never’s ‘Rifts’ comp and a number of Rustie releases, as well as art direction for videos from Jamie Lidell and Hudson Mohawke, collaborations with Mogwai and even a series of seriously heavyweight mixtapes.
